Reports were heard from members of the Special Commission established on the President’s instruction, as well as from khokims and heads of agencies, on the work being carried out in this area. The meeting emphasized the need for a systematic approach – solutions must have an impact not only today but also prevent similar crises in the future.

As part of her personal oversight, Saida Shavkatovna visited Qibray district, where she inspected one of the greenhouses that burns about 150 kilograms of coal daily. She noted the inadmissibility of such practice, which directly harms the environment and the citizens’ health, and stressed that economic benefit cannot justify environmental damage.

At the same time, the need to support entrepreneurs in transitioning to eco-friendly technologies was highlighted. Following the inspection, officials received additional instructions to strengthen control, speed up filter installation, and modernize facilities.

The Special Commission was directed to continue its work in an intensified mode to ensure environmental safety.
